In-Person Event Registration Terms & Conditions

Once you submit your registration, we will send you an e-mail to confirm that we have received it.

Places within a company are transferable without any charge. But once you register at the event on-site your pass is strictly for your own use and you shall not reassign, transfer or lend it to any other person whether or not they are employed by the same company unless there is an emergency. In the case of emergency please notify the organisers in advance. 

Accommodation is not included in the registration fee. Each delegate will be responsible for their own accommodation and travel expenses, however GIA Global Group s.r.o. will negotiate and offer the best possible rates for its delegates in the same hotel in which the event will take place. 

In case a delegate would like to cancel their participation for some unexpected eventualities, such requests must be submitted in written form and sent by post or email four weeks prior to the event in order to obtain a full credit note for any future event organised by GIA Global Group s.r.o. The fees charged are strictly non-refundable. 

In the event that GIA Global Group s.r.o. cancels a conference, delegate payments at the date of cancellation will be refunded in full. In the event that GIA Global Group s.r.o. postpones a conference, delegate payments will be credited towards the rescheduled date. 

All fees for the conference include hot lunch, refreshments and conference documentation, and presentations. Please note that payment must be received before the event and within two weeks from the date of the invoice issue date. 

The organisers reserve the right to make changes to the program without notice and to change the location or the date of the event or confirmed speakers. In case the event cannot be host in person due to a force majeure like pandemic and gathering restrictions associated with it, the event will be hosted in a virtual format.

GIA Global Group s.r.o. agrees to keep attendee’s information confidential in its database and process it according to its Privacy Policy. The attendee gives GIA Global Group s.r.o. the authority to keep their information in its database and use the information in any way necessary in connection with the event. Attendee information will be removed from our database immediately after receiving a written request. 

You must not take part in any canvassing, leafleting, demonstrations, objectionable behaviour or any activity, which may disrupt the event.

You acknowledge that you have read the safety measures policy in connection with COVID-19 and accept it.

GIA Global Group reserves the right to:

• Stop any activity on the part of any attendee that may interfere with, or cause annoyance to any event;
• Exclude or remove anyone from the event who does not comply with these terms and conditions; is not showing or abiding by a general good conduct; and/or is not showing or abiding by such professional behaviour as can be expected from the sort of event.
  

You agree and acknowledge that you are participating in or to the event at your own free will and intentional act.

You understand and accept that you assume responsibility for your own wellbeing and safety, and that your participation in or to the event may involve an element of risk and/or danger of accidents, which element of danger or risk you hereby assume. You hereby waive, release and discharge any and all claims for damage for personal injury, death or property damage which you may have, or which may hereafter accrue to you, as a result of your participation in or to the event. This release is intended to discharge in advance GIA Global Group, its directors, employees and agents from any and all liability arising out of or connected in any way with your participation in or to the event, even though that liability may arise out of negligence or carelessness on the part of those parties. You further agree that this waiver, release and assumption of risk is to be binding on your heirs and assigns.

You agree to indemnify and to hold harmless, GIA Global Group, its officers, employees and agents from any loss, liability, damage, cost or expense which they may incur as the result of your death, injury or property damage that you may sustain while participating in or to the event. This liability waiver shall be construed broadly to provide a release and waiver to the maximum extent permissible under applicable law.

Irrespective of the place the event is organised, these terms are governed by and construed under the laws of Czech Republic. Parties will first try to settle any dispute between them amicably in good-faith negotiations prior to seeking enforcement from a court.
